The Brickyard Barn Inn

• Parents are responsible for their children; the building is not child proof.
• Some places in the building are off limits to guests.

Alcohol and Food Policies

• We expect the customer and all guests to obey the Kansas liquor laws and police their guests (or charge someone with that responsibility).
• No alcohol is allowed on the premises including the parking lot unless provided by BBI; Up to $150 will be added to charges if any non-BBI supplied adult beverages are found (or an off-duty police officer can be hired to patrol at a cost of $30 per hour).
• We reserve the right to card guests.
• We reserve the right to refuse bar service to anyone.
• We reserve the right to pull all alcohol and bill for full costs if problems become excessive.
• Guests who cause a disturbance or disregard these policies will be asked to leave (or sheriff will be called).
• Last call is no later than 10:30 p.m. (or 1/2 hour before end of party); remaining alcohol is the property of the Brickyard Barn Inn.
• Food for events is provided by Brickyard Barn Inn Catering only unless specifically authorized.
• Snacks, unless provided by BBI or authorized prior to event, are not allowed.

BBI Property Policies

• No smoking is allowed inside the Inn. If there is evidence that a room has been smoked in, $50 plus 2 nights room rental will be charged.
• Cost of repair or replacement of damaged property will be the customer’s responsibility and billed separately from other charges.
• Unreasonable cleanup problems will be billed to customer on top of other charges (includes B&B baths) at the rate of $25 per hour.
• Pre-event decorating: damage nothing (no staples, pins, etc.); no fireworks or confetti is allowed.

Event Policies

• Owners reserve the right to hire extra security at customer cost if needed.
• All wedding events end at 11 p.m. and guests must exit by 11:30 p.m.
• Lunch and dinner prices do not include rental of grounds.
• Lunch price includes dining room for 3 hours (ending no later than 4 p.m.).
• Dinner price includes dining room for 3.5 hours (or until 9:30 p.m., whichever is earlier).
• Please limit (or prohibit) early arrivals.
• Event deliveries and other people coming to the BBI must be scheduled (and may be added to bill as extra event time).
• Equipment rented by the customer is the responsibility of customer or rental agency.
• Start and end times will be enforced, and include decorating time, set-up time, changing clothes time, event time, and cleanup time. Additional time (>30 minutes) will be added to bill at the $100 rate.
• BBI Refrigerators are off-limits unless otherwise noted. Lost inventory will be added to bill.
• B&B guestrooms (unless rented by event customer) are not to be used by event guests, including the bathrooms.
• BBI owners reserve the right to book other events on the same day.

Pool and Hot Tub Policies

• No glass containers inside pool fence, on the deck, or on the patio.
• Pool and hot tub are for the BBI overnight guests only; other arrangements can be made for extra charge.
• No lifeguard is ever on duty; children must be supervised.
